We are so excited to introduce you to another new TLC that has earned the right to work one on one with the residents at The Nest in an ongoing direct relationship. Karen Wall started volunteering last fall primarily processing and organizing donations. Karen completed her application process, background check, general volunteer hours, and training in late January. She is currently being mentored by another TLC and is quickly moving into her role of a TLC for these great girls living at The Nest!
I am excited to help as a TLC because I have been through trials in my life and God has always been there for me. I believe that as a believer it is my privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus here on earth. I believe in the command given in John 13:34-35 to love one another and am excited to be able to expand my circle of friendship through The Sparrow’s Nest and to get the chance to display the love of Christ,as best I can, in each relationship. -Karen
