It’s Just Not Right That…
At some point in our lives, we all have to fill in the rest of that sentence.
We all get to that point where we’ve heard enough radio broadcasts, read enough headlines, witnessed enough tragedy, gotten so fed up with the world where we stand up and announce, “Not on my watch, it’s just not right that…”
For me, I fill in that phrase like this.
It’s just not right that unborn babies are not given a chance to live because of the circumstances of their conception.
It’s just not right that a teen mother doesn’t have a safe and secure place to figure things out when she is just a child herself.
It’s just not right that a teen mother and her baby are completely discounted as two unfortunate mistakes that just need to live with their choices.
So this is the DNA of The Sparrow’s Nest. This is why we do what we do. This is the good we believe in.
*We value all life no matter the circumstances.
*We believe in serving The Least, The Lost, and The Lonely.
*We believe in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances.
Unfortunately it’s really hard to do good.
It actually costs money, and lots of money to do good.
The bottom line is that we have one day left and we need to finish strong. I know you have gotten a lot of information about this. This is my plea to see if you would be willing to help us finish strong. We have to raise $100,000 to get The Sparrow’s Nest off the ground! I pray you would respond the way your heart leads you.
